How many page credits do I need to scrape data about businesses from Google Maps?
Our Google maps crawler needs to go through a list of all businesses and then go into each business' detail page to get additional data about each business such as their telephone, address, open hours, website address, etc. Here is the business detail age for a listing as shown by Google in March 2021 (which is subject to change over time)
e.g. If you want to gather details for using one query that has 100 business listings on Google Maps, then the crawler uses a minimum of 107 page credits.
The crawler uses 100 page credits to go through each business' details page and the rest of the 7-page credits (a single search results page contains a maximum of 20 business listings) for navigation (next page link on Google Maps).
The number of business listing shown per page is always subject to change by Google and beyond our control. if Google decides to change the count, our page credit calculation also changes.
Google also may change the number of results it displays as you navigate to the next page and the total count can vary with each page navigation.
