Account Migration Guide for Current Subscribers

If you're a current paid subscriber of ScrapeHero Cloud, your account will be automatically migrated from our old platform (cloud.scrapehero.com) to our new, improved platform (app.scrapehero.com). This guide explains what's changing and what you can expect during this transition.

Key Changes

  • New Platform: Your account is moving from cloud.scrapehero.com to app.scrapehero.com.
  • New Credit System: We're switching from "page credits" to "data credits" for easier usage tracking.
  • Everything Else Stays the Same: Your plan price, billing period, and core features remain unchanged.

    • What's Included in the Migration

    The following elements will be automatically transferred to the new platform:

    • All account information.
    • Scheduled scrapes.
    • Integrations.
    • Run history.
    • Project settings.
    • Scraped data (within the normal retention period).
    • Billing information.

    Understanding Data Credits

    We're changing how we measure your usage:

    • Old System: Counted pages crawled.
    • New System: Counts actual data records retrieved.

    Credit Conversion

    Your remaining page credits will be converted to data credits proportionally:

    • The percentage of credits you've used will remain the same.
    • Example:
      • Old system: 1000 page credits with 250 used (25% usage)
      • New system: 10,000 data credits with 2,500 used (25% usage)
      • Result: 7,500 data credits available to use

    Migration Process

    1. The migration is automatic and mandatory for all current subscribers.
    1. You don't need to take any action.
    1. You'll be able to log in to the new platform (app.scrapehero.com) using your existing credentials.
    Warning
    If you have signed up using email and password or using Github then you will have to reset your password. We'll be sending you an email, notifying to reset the password of your account.

    •        A: No, this migration is mandatory for all current subscribers to ensure you have access to our latest features and improvements.
  • Q: How will this affect my current scraping jobs?
    •       A: Your scheduled scraping jobs will continue to run as normal. You'll be able to manage them on the new platform.
